He caved with Walker <doh>

Then you don't get your man either, but we bring in another top class centre half from another club and also get Sandro. You're left with Fat Rose and Aurier who is easily one of the worst fullbacks in the league.

Bullshit.

Walker went because Pochettino sanctioned it, or it either wouldn’t have happened or the price would have been far higher.

As it was, £50mill for a fullback was top money.

Rose isn’t fat anymore. Aurier was half Walker’s price, but we need to find him a brain from somewhere.

Getting £50m for Walker wouldn't really be "caving". Was a shame to lose him but we've done fine without him.

Fat Rose and Aurier aren't even first choice so it's no biggy, they're like our Shaw and Darmian, although Rose did look like the Rose of old on the final game against Leicester. Aurier will probably be off if we can find a buyer (big if, bloke's a ****ing donkey). Walker-Peters will hopefully compete with Trippier next season.

Walker’s contract had longer to run, so that was different.

Pochettino would have sanctioned his release if as reported an agreement can’t be reached. If he felt Toby was crucial to us, I’ve little doubt that Levy would come up with a package that was acceptable.

As to whether he goes to a rival , that’s not his decision, it’s Levy’s.

MP’s remit is just to tell Levy who he wants to keep and who he doesn’t.

Toby is holding the cards in this one imo. We'll see. Don't worry it'll be HIAG I go after if we sign him you'll be ok.
