An earthquake & a hurricane causing a **** load of damage out here on the east coast of the USA & on top of all that we didnt get 3pts on Saturday. <grr>

Come on Steve get the cheque book out & buy a ****ing forward

Only 3 days left to do it. :emoticon-0107-sweat

Whereabouts are you? Are you alright?

Im in Baltimore Maryland mate me & the family are all ok.

The house got a little wind damage we got 13 inches of rain in 7 hrs last night
and wind gusts of 75mph.

It was pretty scary.

The next lad next door lost most of his roof & a big tree landed on his car.
so i can say im doing better than he is

Just returned from a week in Boston and the Cape. Got the last plane out on Saturday night, for which I'm thankful, otherwise I'd still be stuck there. Was able to watch the game at a friend's house and took some stick the whole time.

Hope everyone is well.

Forgot to mention, back in the SF Bay Area, where we eat 5.9 earthquakes for breakfast!!!!

(know that's been done to death, but sorta true)

Cheers mate. You got out just in time

I watched the game Saturday morning :headbang:

I just hope we have a few players in before wednesday deadline

San Francisco is a strange one.
They know it is going to be hit repeatedly by earthquakes yet they still keep building there, I always wondered why?
Even when it was nearly destroyed beginning of the century they rebuilt.

Not as if the USA is short of land.

Natural beauty I guess. People back in the day wanted to be in and around this area. As a result, it's become an incredibly important part of the economy (Statewide and Nationally) and that will never be reversed. The building codes here are remarkably strict for anything new, so rather be here in a 7.5 than somewhere else in a smaller tremor.

What surprises me is how expensive the real estate is here...the earthquakes, or threat of them, have absolutely no effect on value.

Aye 5.9 is nwt for the west coast but it was still a weird thing to experience.

hope not a trend moving forward for the East Coast. can't imagine it would be, but better to do without them! Hurricanes are more than enough.

Yes they are mate but i still hope i never have to witness any of them again. Scared the **** out of me Just knowing that you cant do anything to stop it my little one was scared stiff she kept asking if the house was going to blow away.

Glad its all over.
