Can’t really believe some of the comments on this thread. People slate RK and LR but don’t really know exactly what they do or what sort of person they are. They criticise the way they phrase things but then manage to upset other forum members by the way they phrase things. At the end of the day it’s been a couple of ****ty years and many thought this would be the year some bad decisions got us relegated. But hey they changed things - apparently not too late - and we survived!! Happy days. Onward and upward!

Can't speak for anyone else , but Les Reed is the first to talk when things are going well .

When was the last time he made any comment public ?

Suspect Krueger bans Les Reed from public speaking....especially if fans aren't happy bunnies. Kreuger said once that if you want soft words, you don't go to Les Reed. If Les was a dog he would be a bad-tempered bull dog.

I think when something needs saying, everyone in the boardroom will grab Ralph by the arms and shove him towards the cameras with the instruction "Just keep talking until everyone goes away".

Ironically, one of the key topics was Accountability. I think you'll find he's the boss and he steps forward because he is ultimately Accountable

Now its gone quiet on this thread I thought I might just whisper this. I understood what Ralph was saying and didn't find anything particular bull-****ty about it
I think Leitch represented many peoples views when he kept going on about Accountability, but actually meant Sackings. Ralph responded by talking about Accountability and meant Accountability
Also when he said we wanted to know more about Gao's intentions, which is true, but he's the owner and doesn't have to say anything and that's how EPL football is now. I think the explanation about China is highly credible

Interesting in hind-sight about VVD. Selling some players IS our business model. As we get better we can keep better players. The difficult part is identifying which will have to go and which we can keep whilst maintaining team-spirit

A lot of people need fingers to be pointed, blame to be apportioned, blood to be spilt and heads to roll. Once the mob is at the gate with its pitch-forks they aren't going to be satisfied with a Chief Execs media interview

I said that I couldn't see what everyone was getting their knickers in a twist about....his way of talking isn't ours and he didn't mention figures when discussing signings (but would you expect him to)...but apart from that, there was nothing contentious in there.

Do we expect someone running a business to react to every comment or whinge from fans...and we are fans, not customers...most of us aren't going to walk away in a huff. If he is confident of their plan, he is probably confident that we will be happy enough in a few months time. The board want us to be happy, but we aren't going to storm the barricades if we're not...so they might as well ignore us and get on with the business. It's Gao they answer to.

I think the hierarchy at the club see us as customers first and foremost. We have to login using our 'customer number' after all.
