I haven’t come here to ‘stir things up’ Beth, I just don’t think the punishment fits the crime in my opinion, rangercol’s childish reply was also intended to ‘stir things up’‘as you put it. Again making my point that if you’re a regular poster you can get away with a lot more than if YOU’RE not. See what I did there?

Really don't think I would lose any sleep if we're banned from a forum, I certainly have more going on in my life than to try again under an alias. Personally have nothing against dubar, don't know the bloke, don't particularly want to know him either. BUT if your soul purpose is just to wind people up then it's a pretty poor existence and quite a concerning mental state.

Have I missed something here Jarlin.....Col saying "you're " in response to your post.. Is that same level of insult as that what was thrown at 999s over the weekend????

And yes....if you are a regular poster on here posting your own comments and ideas about a football team we all reputedly love, pro or con, match after match, week after week..Yes you get a lot more respect than some one who comes on once in a blue moon to say that we have been unfair to a poster who made a libelous comment about another poster

No Beth, I’m not , my point was you said I was stirring it up and in my opinion so was Col, and I’m not looking for sympathy here, I was a season ticket holder from when I was 16- 40, ( before that I went with my Dad) then I was paralysed from the waist down in a car cash so no longer go to any games so feel I cannot comment on match threads etc . I’m 45 now and feel more comfortable commenting occasionally on the off topic threads. I hope that clears it up

And just to add to this Beth over my time on here I have had a few heated discussions (ding dong's) but I have never said something so nasty as what durbar said. Then to follow it up with a nasty dig at Turkish. NEVER.

The difference is, and Jarlin (whoever he is) can take note, that in the past I have been man enough to apologize to posters if I felt I stepped over the line. There will be 2-3 can vouch for that.

What Durbar said to Nines was just a horrible comment and worthy of a ban. I would say if Jarlin feels so unhappy about this then put us all on 'Ignore'.

264 posts in a little over 7 years, looks like you never have added much to the forum. Not sure if you ever had any exchanges with Durbar, in fact I doubt you even knew who he was seeing as tonight is the first time you've been on here since you made a single post on the 6 Nations thread back in February and prior to that 2 posts in January, prior to that 1 single post in September 2017 and then back 12 months to September 2016 to your last postings........

If you had taken some time to post and view various exchanges you would have probably realised that he had been treading a fine line for a while wumming and trolling other posters. We as Mods have a fairly relaxed approach to things, as we believe that we are all adults on here and know what common courtesy means, and banning posters is really the last straw, a decision we do not take lightly. Unfortunately in this case we felt we had no choice as he was causing a lot of nasty feeling. Sure being called a **** is not pleasant and all posters are reminded to moderate their language but maybe in the context of things it was felt that no rebuke was necessary at the time........

Try posting more often rather than being an infrequent visitor and you may enjoy this forum........

Why can't you comment on a match thread because you didn't attend a game???
The majority who post didn't have to have attended that particular game
