What position would you guys take on christmas day after our great start to the season. Personally I would like to be just outside the playoffs. And then what about at the end of the season??

I would be happy if we are in the top 8. Or if there is only a point or two in it the top 10. Then I would expect us to invest in the Transfer window and then kick on to secure the playoff places. I would expect us to be top half. I would love to see how Nigel copes with the team if we have a barren spell. - So far it has been pretty much plain sailing for him. I don't want us to see troubled water, but I would love to know how Nigel copes with it. Please don't slate me for the above comment!!! I don't want Saints to struggle!!!

My expectations haven't changed, I would be delighted if we are well clear of relegation at Xmas, I do, however, think that we will probably be in the top 8.

Well one of his elves just delivered my new away kit for my birthday today! Now what a good job I snuck into the shop at the Leeds game and picked one up in my size, just in case the wife and kids ran out of ideas!

I want to be 456 points clear at Christmas and at the end of the season I want us to have won the Champions League.

    I am serious.

I want to be sitting rather smugly, watching the highlights of our emphatic win at Nottarf a few days earlier.

My preferred position at Christmas? That's private!;)

Considering the start we have made, will be gutted if we are not in the top 6 by Christmas.
If we were to strengthen :emoticon-0150-hands the squad by the deadline, I would not be surprised if we were in the top 3.

I'll reserve judgement until we've played 10 games; then you can look at the table and start to think about it taking a little shape.

Top 8 would be a healthy position.

Wow, you're a dreamer. No reason why we can't be top 3, other than Westham, Leicester and Brighton I don't see much to challenge us this season.

After our start would be disappointed if we were not in top 6 or better.........besides WHU can't see any teams who have a squad as strong as ours and certainly if NA can bring in a couple of quality signings......my expectations will be high!!

Don't forget the African Cup of Nations. Should be good preparation before we win Euro 2012 and the Olympics.

It would be nice to be in the top 6 or there abouts.......but my heart really wants to be in the top two....and finish there in May. That really would be my Christmas present....even if late..........
