Whats the rationale for going back for watfords lad? is walsh stil lthe man or is that other guy coming in?

Who's making the calls?
Wouldn’t be my choice mate, but Moshiri was prepared to pay Watford £15m for him in November.

Brands looks odds on to come in as DOF, what happens to Walsh remains to be seen, rumours are that he’ll be offered the head scout role.

Moshiri is calling the shots, without doubt.

Elstone is going as well :)

Holding back what?

If he was ‘holding back’ he’d keep Fat Sam in situ, a manager guaranteed to retain PL status despite boring the fans rigid, and save himself £6m + in the process.

Instead he’s going to shoot him and possibly employ a young up and coming manager. That’s the complete converse of what you’re suggesting.
There's nothing been done that suggests building for the future. Getting rid of Koeman with no plan in place; appointing Sam - a short term fix.

He hasn't sacked Sam yet or appointed a young manager so that's all pie in the sky as well atm. And, dare I ask - what was the nose tapping about?

imo get the guy at the top right and the rest will flow. I hope the new technical guy likes Silva.

Sorry, so sacking 2 under performing managers, and now on the cusp of binning a 3rd as he’s done his job in keeping us safe, but can’t provide the type of football both he and we the fans want, is not trying to improve the football side of the business?

Allardyce is toast and he’ll be replaced, it’s not pie in the sky

That all points to what I said - there's no progress or long term plan in evidence.

You know what I meant by the nose tapping. <laugh> 3 months ago you were tapping your nose over a big announcement being made in 'a few weeks' <whistle> What was it?

You tapping that honk again mate? :bandit:

Can't see him being kept on which begs the question why give him a contract longer than 'till end of season' ? He did exactly what was expected, no more, no less. Moshiri throwing money away for the sake of it .....

That was the failsafe part of the deal, if the blues had gone down he's got experience in getting sides promoted as well as saving them from relegation.

If they'd gone down Moshiri would have gone for Warnock <laugh>

They jumped too quick in sacking Koeman imo, was it 10 games into the season? Hiring a firefighter manager smacks of desperation. At least they've got the summer to get his next 'first choice' manager. :bandit:

Sam was Moshiris choice, he had his pants down and will get a good chunk of that final year as a golden **** off. No point in keeping Koeman as he had lost the dressing room with the Mirallas/Schneiderlin farce.
