Adidas Vs Joma ........
Apart from looking better, does wearing a top brand give you an edge over the council estate brands ?
We were ordinary in an ordinary shirt :emoticon-0182-poolp

I think Tan said that "Visit Malaysia" paid £3m for this season and they will have to pay more in the Prem. I always thought visit Malaysia was Tan but it seems that it's not.

Not sure about this season DJ, but the "£3M" thing actually went back to our first trip up to the Prem.

No idea how long that arrangement was for but I guess it would be worth more than that now than then..........

1975 is the most iconic with the white & yellow stripe but my favourite was the one with Bluebirds written on it.

Whilst I agree that our 70's-90's shirts were indeed iconic, my main point is that to wear a shirt with Adidas NOT Joma or Puma will make our team jump thru burning hoops for the cause.
As opposed to a team like Swansea, who swapped from Adidas to Joma and lowered their standards :emoticon-0112-wonde

I think I am correct in saying tat around the early 90s CCFC were the only team without a kit sponsor? That was dire. However, I DO think a good make is important...it goes with the brand.
Recall one match v the poor cousins from down west in 80’s when the city shirt had a SuperTed logo.

Must have worked as city won 3-2:emoticon-0148-yes:
