Another reason to win the CL.

If we win, we're in pot 1 for seeding next year (as winners) and Spurs get knocked down to pot 3.

If we lose Spurs are in pot 2 and we are in pot 3.

If winning for the sake of winning isn't enough. How about winning just to piss off Spurs?

So just over 10,000 tickets for Liverpool supporters, the club are taking the piss, almost 2,000 tickets the owners, players and hangers on and the rest who knows where, no doubt plenty will end up in the hands of touts.

"The breakdown of Liverpool’s ticket allocation is 63% for general supporters, 25% for contractual obligations to hospitality members and priority rights holders, 11% for officials, first team players and staff, former players and media, and 1% for their commercial partners.

Liverpool season ticket holders, official members and fan card holders who have attended seven or more Champions League matches this season (not including the qualifying round against Hoffenheim) are guaranteed a ticket for the final.

However, a ballot will take place for those season ticket holders, official members and fan card holders who have attended six European matches this term.

Premier Club and Carlsberg Dugout seasonal members will also be eligible to register for the ballot.

The ballot will be run and managed independently from the club by the Electoral Reform Services.

All tickets will be available to buy online only."
"It means Liverpool supporters will have a better than one in four chance of qualifying for a Champions League final ticket .

The club have confirmed a total of 25,578 qualifying supporters have registered for the Champions League final ticket ballot, which will take place this week.

An LFC spokesman added: “UEFA make all decisions on ticket prices and the size of each club’s allocation.

“For those unable to get a ticket, Liverpool are set to announce a live screening of the final at Anfield.”

Liverpool are already urging fans without a ticket to not fly out to Kiev.

With no direct flights for Kiev set to leave from Merseyside or Manchester. fans will have to make their way to Ukraine via London’s airports such as Stansted and Heathrow."

With already established it's bad luck to have a thread about the game after next...
