I heard some Sjoke fans on the radio phone-in who were moaning about Hughes spending millions on wasters and ruining their club? Have I heard that before? <yikes>

We've talked about this before.
The arrogant delusion by some owners that the manager whose been absolutely useless elsewhere is suddenly going to transform your loser of a club ot be a winner.
Managers do the same with wayward players - we've only ever seen that work with Warnock and Taarabt!

Had Warnock not had tarbs he also would not be seen so fondly on here

He is a lucky ****er

In fairness to Warnock he went all out to get Taarabt (including flying over to Morocco to meet him) and indulged him to a degree that got the maximum out of him that Championship winning season. I will be forever grateful for that season, if only we could relive it.

Agree Warnock did wonders for us in 2 spells and now he is about to take Cardiff up. For me, he was the one that got away. I know we have debated this to death but I reckon we would have had a better season with him in charge. Good luck to NW.

The Swansea v Southampton game Tuesday night promises to be a cracker. Swansea have Stoke final game and I think Southampton have City so really its a big game for Hughes.

Personally I would like to see Swansea stay up. I like Carvalhal, seems a decent bloke., plus it might see Charlie back at the Bush, albeit playing for the opposition
