Definitely need a first team CB, CM and forward that can play across whole front line (Werner?)

Weve seen what take out one of Mane or Salah does to our attack, makes us predictable because we don’t have the pace and quality replacement.

MF is a must even with Keita coming because he’ll jist replace Can leaving ya short. Milner has been very good throw 2nd half of the season and Hendo has his pros and cons, same as Gini but wouldn’t say any are clear first choice.

LB would be nice. Think Moreno might move on if get decent offer for him so need competition for Robbo.

We cannot go out and in effect buy a second starting 11 for next season however what we can do is gradually improve the squad say 2 positions per window .
Should also add this may not mean buying players but in some cases improving the ones we have for example an Origi fulfilling his potential would give us cover across the front 3.

Not going to happen, sell and use the money for someone worth it.

We're not close enough to win it next year. We need to fill in the obvious holes in the first XI this summer and work on filling depth and "would be nice ifs" in 2019.

I think in two years if we improve smartly we could possibly potentially maybe win the league.

I think if we try and improve everything that could be improved over the summer we would go back to the old Rafa/Rodgers quantity over quality problems that held us back last time the title was in our cross hairs.

I prefer a long term approach to "get rich good quick schemes". Improve the remaining holes in defence this summer. Work on depth next summer (and possibly January).

Now, obviously, if the scouts spot some bargains or must haves in the "would be nice" positions... Go for it. But focus on what's important.
