What is overlooked is the fact that I started that thread off on the basis that Leicester’s success would come at a cost.

In other words, I did acknowledge Leicester’s success.

Given that they ended up fighting relegation and sacking their greatest ever manager, it is abundantly clear to any intelligent observer that I was correct.

The irony is that the only bitterness surrounding that thread has been expressed by our resident rabid foxes, and especially Bambi.
