Fat Sam: "It was an excellent performance. Huddersfield at home have been strong and they were looking to make themselves safe by beating us but we were too good for them.

"It was only missed chances which meant that we didn't make it more comfortable. It's a good win and that's 11 points in six games. We are riding high and are finishing the season strongly.

"We are improving in all areas. We have turned the corner away from home. Huddersfield will survive, they will find the points.

"We shouldn't keep talking about critics when you've took 11 points from six games...'[Walks out of interview]

He's not getting sacked @Tobes

He will not be in charge for the first league game of the season.

Anyone hoping we'll just turn up and beat Brighton on the last day anyway should remember 'Boro last season in the final game: yes, we won 3-0, but we should have been a goal down and playing with ten men before we scored. We really should have been able to put the deck chairs out for the last two games and concentrate on - hopefully - a CL final, but now Brighton is must, must, ****ing must win.

We have to assume that we have to do our own job and cannot rely on others. We have 2 chances to get CL. First at least a point against Chelsea. If not then win the last match.

Garth is disgusted by EFC fans wanting Fat Sam out <laugh>

Ah well, it isn’t Garths choice.

You trying tget find support for sam, it’s only a £5bet FFS.

Especially after you [HASHTAG]#calledit[/HASHTAG]

Fat Sam's going nowhere

The sooner you and @Tobes come to terms with it the better

TBH it might not even be a bad idea, your club is still a massive mess

First sort out a proper director of football and bin Walsh or make him head scout, then worry about a new manager

EFC needs far too much work to get done in a single summer, especially with Moshiri and Kenwright pulling in different directions

You fancy doing the Roma match day thread?

You’ll lose your bet.

Allardyce got no assurances about next season yesterday, as if he had, he’d have been definitive at his presser yesterday, as he’s got an ego the size of Goodison......only he did nothing of the sort, and Moshiri has said bugger all publicly either.......the fans gave Fat Sam pelters at the game again today......while we were winning. We don’t want him, we’ll never accept him, he’s not the man to build anything at Everton.

Kenwright is about to go, as is Elstone, and Walsh will either accept the role as head scout or leave, his choice, as we’ve been openly chasing a proper DOF.

None of this disagrees with the fact that EFC will let Fat Sam see out the last year of his contract

BTW if Everton do get a new manager they will have 4 managers still on the payroll <laugh>

How are you going to get in a new DOF, possibly a new head scout, and a new manager all in a single summer? How long will that take and in the meantime who is deciding on transfer targets?

If EFC were going to sack Fat Sam they would have "announced" it by now to help sell season tickets
