Also not all fans are clued up etc.

My mate who is a season ticket holder, called me a few days before they went on sale and said he won't be going as the tickets were over £100. I told him the most expensive one is £75 and he said not on ticket master. I then said why you buying from there and he said how else do I buy them as I haven't got a log on to the club website...even though he has, and is linked to my number too.

Had an email this morning saying I could now get a ticket......but I can’t go in fact I can only listen to it on the car radio :emoticon-0106-cryin

Not fair :(

Its very depressing that it doesnt look like this will even sell out.

I know two ST holders who have both chosen not to attend. And both were there, in 1976.

They've said they'll attend the final, should we get there. But going to Wembley for a SF just doesn't do it for them, especially with the expense involved (particularly when you factor in the further expense of the final, should we make it).

Can completely understand that too, personally don't like that semi's are held at Wembley, feel that honour should always be reserved for finals.

But still, between everyone who is associated with SFC i would like to think we could sell 34,000 tickets, maybe its just plain naivety.

Means I was able to buy 4 tickets next to each other for my family who all have different levels of purchase history - all purchased on different days due not having the same criteria met :)

How does expense come into it? If it wasn't being played at Wembley then it would most likely be at The Emirates so travel costs would be exactly the same. I assume that ticket prices would also probably be the same so no change there either.

As far as the game itself actually being at Wembley, does it really matter where it's being played once you're in the ground and amongst the crowd? For me I could be sat/standing in any stadium once the match starts.

You'd have to ask them.

I guess their logic is that two potential matches (regardless of venue) in such a short space of time is expensive. For a final, at Wembley, where victory means lifting the cup, they can justify such an expense. But it's a lot harder to justify for a SF.

Fair enough, hopefully I'll bump into them at the final so I can ask them :emoticon-0100-smile

Not selling our allocation is really embarrassing, looks like our supporters don't turn up to important games like a lot of our players
I'm treating this like our last goodbye to the big time for a while and am going to damn well enjoy myself
I'm treating this as our last chance to stay in the big time. Win this and everyone will be playing for place in the final and hopefully we will see a pick up in form like last year in the lead up to the final. (Before our form dropped off a cliff after). Big match for me.
