Clear for you yes, but for many people it is a level debate, Maldo could have been taking the racing line for Eau Rouge.

I guess at the time of hiring him, his temperament was unknown. He was GP2 champion, and came with a lot of support from Venezuelan companies, which I think provided a large chunk of Williams budget for the year, I think he's one of the most well-sponsored drivers on the grid. The question might be now whether Williams can afford to part company with him.

He would have double the points of Barrichello if it wasnt for Monaco, Hulkenberg never had more points than Bar if im right. Everyone says hes **** because hes a pay driver. Why not say the same about Senna?

Why would they ditch him for one incident that wasn't entirely his fault?

Aus 94 and Jerez 97 were crimes against the sport :)

Or can you justify Schuey's action at those events!?

Read a good post by somebody saying that alguesuari rammed Kamui on purpose not long ago and he got away with it.

I guess it depends on a lot of things. Firstly, if he is blamed for the incident. If he is, then the media reaction is crucial too. If the worlds media roundly condemn him, and there are calls for him to be removed from the sport, then Williams will have to contend with a bad media image if they retain his services. The amount of money from merchandise, etc, is not inconsiderable, so they've got to decide if they can do with that taking a hit, and, if they do get a bad image by retaining Maldonaldo, whether they'll be able to attract a good driver to replace Barrichello when the time comes, or whether talented drivers would not want to be associated with Maldonaldo. The incident itself is only the start.

'Cause he's no good and doesn't really do much for the team. Hulkenberg has more talent, was also a GP2 champ, had a cool head and brought the team a little bit of glory at Brazil last year.

I don't think you quite understood my point, I want to allow you to understand that it wasn't just Schumacher making faults.
Damon was also pulling off maneuvers just as bad, people don't want to remember them as much.

Bergy, Why? because it was a reasonable comment taking both sides of the drivers into account?

No I can't, can you justify Senna's or Prost's maneuvers, or any other faulty move in the history of Motorsport? It HAPPENS, it is Formula 1.
If it was clean all the time I will tell you straight 50% of the viewers would tune out because this events are what make the sport entertaining for them.

Hamilton isn't innocent here, but he's certainly no more to blame than mal.

I just can't wait to hear what Maldonado has to say. Lewis kept very calm on the radio though, and for the rest of the the entire quali session. kudos to him

At the start it looked 100% maldonaldos fault, but now it's looking like 60/40 because it looked like Lewis provoked him.

I think the Mclaren had a twitch coming out of La Source and Maldonado thought he tried to block him but Lewis was slowing down and I don't see why he would try and sabotage his Q3 by hitting Maldonado.

seeing it again it looks like Hamilton hit a little wet patch causing his slicks to twitch his rear wheels, Maldonado moves aside, also slightly onto the wet line, then both try and drive onto the dry-line and then they collide, not sure if any malice involved but still has to be Maldonado fault, although a case of 70/30
