It would have much more prudent to wait for proof of Russian state involvement. I expect a lot of the international community that joined with us in immediate condemnation of Putin now wish they hadn't rushed to judgment based on lies they had been told about Porton Down's findings. Urging caution is neither siding with Russia or attacking the Tories.

For someone who claims not to like Corbyn you certainly seem to stick up for him and dislike the Tories? Strange that? :emoticon-0112-wonde
As for me, I am not frightened by Corbyn as he justs makes himself look worse with every speech. What I worry about is his Anti-Semitic stance with the Jewish community.

I've seen no sign of any change whatsoever in the international community.(Indeed, after the chlorine gas in Syria, there are just more nails in Putin's coffin). Porton Down hasn't said the nerve agent wasn't from Russia. Merely that it's beyond their pay grade to determine where it was made. I wouldn't expect them to know that and PD is only a small part of British intelligence that I imagine (no one can be sure) was shared with the EU members and turned them from mild sceptics to believers.

This seems so obvious that it shouldn't need be said.

PD said they were unable to very the precise source. They did also say it wasn't their job to identify the origin, granted, but if they couldn't identify the precise source, how could professors Johnson and May do so after 2 days?

This highlights a problem within our political system. It requires you to choose your favourite lunatic and stick with them.

Nope I voted for conservatives. May just happens to be in charge. Every Tory I see on tv comes across as an out of touch, moronic ponce. That' why

Because as I've said, PD was only a small part of the evidence. MI6 gets a huge amount of intelligence ongoing. For example, it intercepted a message shortly before the Skripals were poisoned, stating "the package has been delivered". This alone is not conclusive, but, as in a criminal trial where there is no direct evidence, each part adds up to make up the whole. They are all pieces in the jigsaw.

Woody for the 1000th time they didn't just act on one piece of evidence. One Tory politician said they had enough evidence to blame Russia. This evidence will not be released due to an ongoing investigation and the safety of people.
I really don't get why some are so hell-bent on protecting Putin. He has proven time and time again to lie/invade/kill/discredit. Some are backing a losing horse.

Do you mean to say that at the election, when you could have voted for Corbyn, you decided to vote for a bunch of out of touch, moronic ponses? What attracted you to these ponses, over Jeremy Corbyn? I'm truly confused!

This all day. Goldie, I don't think I can be bothered debating this because I'm afraid some just want to Boris and May bash. They are twisting what PD has said for their own political agenda.

I've never heard of this intercepted message and I've paid, or at least I thought I had, close attention.

What I have heard is that each version of a nerve gas has certain calling cards, but PD couldn't link it to anywhere in particular.

The point I responded to above was to acknowledge the difference between it not being their responsibility to identify the origin vs being unable to do so.

You might think that pedantic, but I think it's important, especially given the context and what was said before.
