Distrust of this whole narrative is completely legitimate.

A supposed chemical attack in Salisbury. I'm not sure it even happened. No proof, constantly changing story with mile wide holes all through it. No need to go over and over it.

Russia blamed and vilified.

Trump announces troops out of Syria within 6 months, immediately followed by a chemical attack by the other villain on his own people when he's on the verge of eliminating the insurgency problem. Why would he do that? Who benefits?

Syria/Russia blamed/no proof/no investigation. All very familiar.

Fire at trump tower.

Days later, FBI raid on trump lawyer office.

Trump talking about fighting dark forces.

TM condemns the alleged attack.

Russia support bad people and like chemicals.

The west are interested in liberation and peace through military power.

This whole story becomes more and more absurd by the day.

Who the **** is out there preaching a calm, considered dialogue? One man, who crumbles under the slightest pressure.

These are dangerous times. The world deserves better than these lunatics.

If I believed in god, I'd be praying.

Bringing the raid on Trump's lawyer in to the mix is a bit disingenuous, as the warrant was approved by a Republican judge appointed byTrump, who judged that there was a high likelihood of evidence proving wire fraud, bank fraud, and campaign fund fraud. It was on evidence uncovered by - but not related to - Meuller's investigations into collusion and electoral fraud.

It's a big body-blow to trump's increasingly manic claims of legitimacy, but I don't see that it's part of the big conspiracy towards war that you talk of.

Assad is a nasty piece of work who basically kills his own people. He is a puppet of the Kremlin. Trump has once again opened his mouth and boasted about taking military action. he now needs to come up with the goods or lose face (which he won't). Let's hope some of those dodgy cruise missiles hit the right target and not some Russian base or it will escalate. Seriously Russia is no match for the US on a conventional military front. The US planes would decimate any Russian aggression. Best we can hope for is a quick bloody nose for Assad and a few war of words with Russia. TBH yesterday it was all in the news and today different stories.

Notice that trump seems to be being careful not to link a perpetrator to the Syria attack. I just have this feeling that he is battling a different enemy, one that wants a war and will get him out of the way to achieve that.

Did you ever catch that fab program Vietnam on BBC2? Really interesting political side to it. LB Johnson and Nixon both kept the war going for political power. Really disgusting how the bodies were mounting and they didn't care as long as they got elected.

All politicians views change along with policy, no more than the tories. My immediate family business would prefer him in no10 and my Jewish neighbours like him. I think the fact that he is electable is what really gets your goat. If you thought he wasn't I reckon you wouldn't be bothered. It's all tit for tat fella. The fact that a Boris story had to be turned into another witch hunt for Corbyn speaks volumes about the people in power. It's all opinions mate. Is it pro-Russia to urge caution over jumping to conclusions regarding the Salisbury poisonings? I don't think so. I would have said it was good advice, which the government should have heeded. They would not then be in the embarrassing position they currently find themselves in of Russia having the high ground in the propaganda war, thanks to BJ's lies.

If you think Russia currently has the high ground in the international community, Strolls, we must live on different planets. The amount of circumstantial evidence that Russia is responsible for the Salisbury poisonings is huge, and the only doubt I've heard from public voice, politician or journalist alike, is Corbyn and some of his coterie (though not McDonnell, who has made his position clear.) Russia uses a deadly poison in this country, and Corbyn attacks not Russia but the Tories! Russian backed Syria gases its own people (and not for the first time), and Corbyn says no conclusion can be reached. Latest YouGov poll has his popularity plummeting and you don't have to look far to explain why.
