He's been a staff member (whatever that means) for quite some time, so maybe it's just that BRB trusts him, rather than anything intentional.

It is exactly that. It may be a poor choice as you say, but i trusted him, I would rather have a poor choice than someone who would fook us all over.
DMD knows the score, he has even reiterated that score back to me. He knows i will bin him as quick as i did give him the status, but it has to be about trust, and i'm trusting him.
If he screws me over, I will be the first to put my hands up after shooting him, but I don't believe DMD would do that to me.

These things aren't a popularity contest, I couldn't give a flying **** what some anonymous username thinks of me, particularly if they're basing their opinion on false information, but that's irrelevant. If there's nothing to mod, it makes no difference who is doing it.
Sadly, people don't self moderate enough, often for fear of upsetting someone on their 'side'. I don't post on most of this forum, but there's still bitchy backstabbing going on on those threads too, so to try and lump the blame my way is simply silly.

Because you wanted the **** to spread when you could have just discussed on the Politics thread. It's no secret that the posters on here had an unwritten rule and that was to keep Politics to that one thread...you knew how to spread the **** though.

About a dozen posters voted for me in that poll, which doesn't suggest 'widely', so file that with 'constantly' and 'always'.
And when that 'perception' is based on the false information the likes of you churn out in replies like your recent ones, it adds to the division. It drives other posters away from this area of the board.
With posts like that, you are part of the problem, and you can become part of the solution you claim to want. Crack on, post and see how it goes. You may even see why your perception is wrong.
