Any way because those two people did make the effort i will leave you alone with clicks of Tobes and NSIS who will no doubt continue to bully Pete and Co. my absence.

Go back further, I did what I did in reaction to other things. But I don't want to get into it. I saidsai the OP things have to change from all or it'll continue. My agenda is to get back to normal where you didn't have to get involved.

There will always be a certain amount of work a board generates but it has got out off hand.

Which he has done, but some don't agree with his idea of "a ****ing good reason", so what do we do, make everyone a mod?

As for the cry arseing to brb, I think brb would soon put you right on who that was and you wouldn't like his list of names and will only claim he is lying again. So nothing will change.

You and I had a bigger problem than anyone here has had and we managed to sort it in the end. I know tobes and stan keep trying to drag it all back up at every opportunity, but we have managed to remain above it all. I hope that continues despite their best efforts.

Difference of opinion is fine, do you think the board is better like it is now? Constant arguing that gets out of hand?

My reasons for posting are genuine, I can see that some will think otherwise but consider that I've not really fallen out with anyone on either side other than brb and that was dealt with between us.

The board doesn't need modded, but if it's going to be modded then so be it, I'd rather an impartial hopeless Hull fan than a Spurs fan any day, otherwise we'd end up with a shrine to Harry Kane and nobody would be able to say a bad word about them.

Just to add, it's a nice idea having an unmodded forum but there are occasions when having a regular poster who's a mod does have its benefits.

People do occassionally post stuff genuinely by accident. Having someone there who can spot and take immediate action without causing a fuss or having others take offence and dragging the supermods into it does have its benefits.

Just an example from experience. Someone posts a Facebook link that identifies another poster. A genuine and horrifying mistake by the poster. Having a mod there to delete the post before things deteriorate does help.

Genuine mistakes do happen.

This is still a good forum that's lost its way just recently but it'll be back. It'll just take time.

And if you think this place has been bad recently then you've clearly never been on the Sunderland board. It might be quiet now, but at one time it was Dodge City, Basra and Hades all in one place.

Most of the lads seemed to fall out at one point or another but they were mates again after a while. Its called pub life!

I'd like to see an anonymous mod in place if we cannot go back to self modding.

My honest to god opinion is that if you just start posting normal ( <laugh> ) threads, all will be fine. If brb let's stan back in, there will be a **** storm as he is the single most disruptive snide on the internet.

Close this thread and get back to posting like 'normal'. :emoticon-0148-yes:

The politics thread is another animal and Stan kept it in the until recently. He was fine outside that thread
