The combination of City imploding(again), ref being atrocious and a bit of luck for United has given an incredible comeback. City only have themselves to blame though, sheer complacency, they simply don't see the threats coming. Credit to United, finally they show some bravery, some spirit and technical quality in a big match. You wouldn't have thought they had it in them the way Mourinho talked them down these last few weeks. Twatkinson owes us 2 points though
Better now. Providing Man Utd don't lose their next game, Citeh cannot mathematically secure the PL irrespective of the result of the Spurs game.
I have a feeling the only thing that Sterling is likely to be nailed on to by Citeh fans will be made of wood......
Arsenal offered to take him in exchange for Alexis Sanchez. You've got to give it to him. After taking Welbeck from United, Arsene offers to take Sterling from Citeh. Maybe, we can do business on Vinnie and Llorente?
I wonder when the last time Guardiola had a week this bad was? Smashed in the Champions League, then blowing a two goal lead to win the title against your biggest rivals. The 2nd leg against Liverpool and then us at Wembley coming up next week. Another ****ty week for him would be wonderful. Bad day for Liverpool and Chelsea, too. Big game for Conte and Moyes tomorrow.
The stattos were quick to come up with a suggestion... However, smartarse that I am, I think I have that beat... 19th October 2016: 0-4 vs Barcelona (Champions League) 23rd October 2016: 1-1 vs Southampton (Premier League) 26th October 2016: 0-1 vs Man Utd (Season Killer Cup) Or... 8th March 2017: 0-0 vs Stoke (Premier League) 15th March 2017: 1-3 vs Monaco, losing on away goals after winning the first leg 5-3 (Champions League) And then there's... 3rd December 2016: 1-3 vs Chelsea (Premier League) 6th December 2016: 1-1 vs Celtic (Champions League) 10th December 2016: 2-4 vs Leicester (Premier League)
It's probably been commented on before but I've missed it, however, Fernandinho has picked up enough bookings to be banned for next Saturday's game at Wembley. He's been excellent for them this season and no matter who they replace him with, he'll be missed.
That's a plus for sure. Would have been even better if a couple of others had lost it in those closing minutes. I thought there would be a dismissal or two. Mind you, in other good news, Raheem Sterling is fit and well and available for selection
