we need to cobble.up a team and get at worst a draw here.

defence and midfield don't seem a terrible issue for us but front 3 are

Slightly concerned about this game due to injuries and players maybe having one eye on CL.

This is a big game and top 4 is not yet secured. This should be top priority.

And yet if we get injuries to key players and **** cl game up you won't be moaning we should have rested them in this game :bandit:

The biggest and last game of their season. And they rested their players last week against Man City.

We might only win by one.
We didn’t rest anyone last week, we had injuries and ended up with the axis of doom in CM.

I agree but i think we have more wiggle room in the league than the CL. The CL is far from over, my worry is when we concede they will believe and conversly we will doubt so a number of quick goals would not surprise me at the Etihad.

Everton will be hurting after their drubbing by city last week, a draw would be acceptable, but under these circumstances a loss would not hurt as much as it normally would
Thats not i want us to lose, but we have a chance to knock city out CL and we dont have the depth to concentrate on both.

Let the youngsters have a crack at the derby and see how they cope.

It’s a tricky one - of course I want us to win both games, but I still have my eye on finishing top 4. It’s crucial to our long term progress.

Ideally, we have th squad to manage the Everton game but we simply don’t.

The harsh reality is IF and its a biggish if - not as big as this time yesterday, we get through these decisions going to get tougher about squad because as certain posters have been pointing out the depth just isnt there for this level of opposition at this point in the season.
Top 4 is vital, but how long before we are back in the quarters again?

I know that but it's only Everton...;)

I'm torn about this one. Obviously we need to rest some players but now that we might have a CL semi to negotiate, those remaining PL games look less winnable so we really could do with the 3 pts on saturday to secure top 4 ASAP.

Or we could just go and win the CL ;)
