Why do they have to spend much more money than Spurs ?? What has been the material drive/reward for doing so ??
Depends how you define market rate. Outside of the elite sides with more financial clout than us, are there many clubs substantially paying their players more than what we pay ours? I genuinely don't know but I doubt it. Besides, as I said in a previous post, we (supposedly, according to Levy in a recent meeting) pay the highest bonuses in the Prem, so providing a player is playing regularly and playing well, there's every possibility they'll be taking home parity to what many other big earners in the division do.
So if we total up 4 seasons of "much more money than Spurs" , we have the minimum extra cost that any club must pay to win 3 FA Cups in 4 seasons ??
He's paid £1.6m per year and the total renumeration for our entire board of directors is £3.3m per year. Our entire board earn half of what Levy pays himself

You're over complicating things mate. We spend more, but we win trophies. You spend less and win **** all Although your chairman spends more than any other chairman in the PL on himself.
Irrelevant. This isn't a construction company, it's a football club. Your chairman has won **** all yet still seen fit to award himself the biggest pay packet in the PL. Despite telling his players that they can't have the wages they could earn at a top club.
Hardly. I am simply trying to get a minimum material cost for any club that wishes to replicate what your club has won in the past 4 seasons.
We've turned roughly the same profit as Spurs yet we've won 3 major trophies in 4 seasons There you go
The fact that you effed up Spurs profit for the past financial year is relevant, and noted. "This isn't a construction company, it's a football club." It's a football club trying to construct a big new stadium to play in. So my question about whether a director of any ltd company who has done that much work on a project of that scale (and the financial gains therein if successful) should be granted such remuneration, remains.
Cost is expenditure, not profit. So we are no closer to understanding the likely material costs for another club wishing to replicate the FA Cup haul of the Goons these past 4 seasons.
Funny watching fans of United, Chelsea and Arsenal telling Spurs fans how clubs should be run With their money...we would bag the league every year. I've got no probs Levy being granted a wage rise by ENIC...he's been great. You lads can start fighting over Toby whenever you are ready.
And profit is the surplus, which arsenal and spurs are roughly on a par with. Your trophy haul however is nowhere near on a par with ours.
You seem to be struggling to cobble together an argument that justifies arsenal and spurs turning the same profit, but with us winning trophies and you winning **** all.
