Somehow he got another top flight job at West Brom, which most couldn’t believe at the time. Surely that’s the final nail in the coffin now? These managers cannot keep getting premier league jobs. It makes you wonder how such great business people in charge of football clubs can make such bizarre decisions.

Some, like Fat Sam, are like the Red Adair of PL clubs.
But things cumulatively do seem to catch up with them.

Whether tis budget (cannot buy a decent enough squad) ,
long injuries to key players over a season, player strops,
it always seems to just be a matter of time IMHO.

He hasn't had his turn at managing Leeds yet, so there's still an opening...

I was dreading the year when they were using somebody's Football Manager prowess to decide the new manager. That season I took Dinamo Zagreb to the knockout stages of the Champions League surely got me on the shortlist...
Probably would've done a better job than Pardew, anyway! <laugh>

Amazing that he got that job his statistics over the years is terrible he gets several good results then loads of bad ones all in a row to me wba were doomed as soon as he was appointed. There are so many managers in the lower leagues that work on a shoestring budget who deserve a chance in the premiership and championship but have no chance which is a shame. It's the same old manager merry go round every season.football must be one of the very few jobs where people high up in jobs fail consistently yet still get offered another job often for more money as well, doesn’t make any sense to me.

With Dybala now sent off, this could easily become 4 or 5.
Strange old game football. The side that knocked us out could well be on the receiving end of a drubbing by a side who we made look mediocre.
