I don't need to look anything up. I've been out 10 years but in the Army we used the term gash for **** things. It may have originated from the matlocks but it's been a very common Army term (at least) recently despite what Google told you...

So, it was originally a navy term, which is what I said. I didn't say it wasn't an army term. Just it wasn't exclusively one or that it originated there,

My uncle was in the navy and always called crap things Gash !
He used all sorts of sayings.
The Ogin for the Sea !!
OPPO for friend.

Ogin was one my dad used as well. Oppo was one a few of us used growing up in the 50s and 60s but I don't know why. We must have heard it from someone and picked it up.

Brucie will **** it up - the fans already think he's a **** and want him out even if they get promoted - having lost 2 on the bounce, Brucie wont have a clue what to do, 4 at the back, 5 at the back, ring the changes, one up front, 2 up front - he'll be getting his excuses ready, one of those 'orrible afternoons, we huffed and puffed - he'll play not to lose, we'll draw with them - he'll think it's a good result, the fans will think he's an even bigger ****

****ing nailed it in one

Out of interest why is Elmo getting booed?

He helped us win promotion twice and was part of a number of Premier League campaigns? Yes he didn't do great towards the end but he is probably one of the best full backs in our history.

Also if any other club had their greatest manager of all time his name would be chanted all the time, with an amazing standing ovation when he walked out the tunnel I really hope we give him that.
Because he bummed Ehab, therebye he got in bed with the enemy/enema

A well earned point, we worked damn hard particularly in 2nd half, in the end disappointed not to have all 3 points. Have to admit after the first 10 mins, feared the worst as they cut through us like butter, but hung on to ht.

Linesman on west side was clueless.
We looked weaker when Grosicki came on - offered nothing defensively, nor much going forward.
Never thought I would say this, but Aina is starting to look like a player! Whether he is settling down, or had his job drilled in to him, looking good.
Funniest quote heard from woman a few rows behind us - if Abel took his gloves off he would move faster, what the?!

To be fair, did you ever see Usain Bolt wearing gloves?
