I cant believe yhe rumours with that figure. In what world does Can think he is a two hundrended thousand a week player
 
would i take a different job for more money to improve my lifestyle = Yes
would i take a different job for more money just to be even richer = No

-obviously this presupposes the jobs are equivalent

Like Z i'm not that motivated by money as long as i have enough to keep me & the Mrs (and our mad twat of a border Collie) in comfort & help out me mum if she needs it i'm content.

This^

I left a job that was paying good money but was something I hated and an environment that made me physically and mentally ill.

Looking to do something that will start out on half the salary I left and probably never get up to that level but I decided quality of life and brain more important.

I have all the "things" I need.... just need enough to keep roof over head, replace the odd thing that wears out and enjoy myself both in and out of work.

Would I like a million quid...of course but it's just fantasy stuff. .

No one's gonna give Can 200k a week! Granted the figure quoted will probably be hugely exaggerated for a nice headline, but it won't be a million miles off. That would make him the 5th highest earner at City after Aguero, De Bruyne, Silva and Toure (4th when Toure leaves) or the second highest at Bayern after Lewendowski. He's simply not that good a player. Painfully inconsistent, often times can't be arsed to give any effort and always attempts passes, tricks or dribbles he doesn't have the skill to pull off.

not really. Pretty sure inter won't offer him as much as barca. Also if he went to barca he'd probably be on the bench. Hardly a sign of ambition. You'd probably slate him if he joined chelsea.

Likewise, he's in italy, obviously knows the culture and the language and his kids the same so probably felt like he'd stay in the country.
