Who'd be a geek? Sit in your bedroom, invent a website where everyone can chat to their old friends, make a few billion dollars and then be blamed for the end of civilisation?
Nothing new. Information has been retrieved unknowingly and sold on way before facebook or even the internet. Look at the wide ranging questions surveys ask you and then wonder why there isnt a list of 10+ companies that want the information being asked for rather than [insert sector] marketing board.
The facebook/social media element is just the latest form of targetting. That is unless people think political chuggers knock on every door, a leaflet sent to every house and 9million Brexit "information leaflets" manage to find their way to every household in the UK

When it comes to Idiot/Thug 45, it is North Korea who are the good guys.
What's been missed on this is that North Korea have been begging to sit down and talk with the US for years - it's a huge propaganda victory if it happens as it allows the NK government to portray themselves as an equal of the USA. The USA, knowing this, have said they will only talk if NK starts to behave themselves.
Then in comes a dickhead like Trump.
In a meeting the South Korean ambassador mentions the request for talks and Trump, not having read any briefing paper ever, assumed it was a new offer and said "Yes, OK, I'll meet them, I can do a deal".
He's handed NK a huge victory just by offering to sit down with them and they will run rings round him in the negotiation. They play the long game, Trump will want a result in his goldfish attention span timeframe.
What an utter codpiece.

Everyone except Kim on your list are fighting for ideals and would rather get rid of us than have a negotiated settlement, and you cant kill an ideal. More importantly, there are people actually fighting and dying in these places.
Whereas all Kim wants is legitimacy which is the entire point of their nuclear weapons programme in the first place. Of course thats the same as Trump so i think they will get a deal, i just struggle to see how the deal will be beneficial to anybody other than Trump and Kim's ego.

Corbyn recommending talking to terrorists = an absolute no brainer
Thatcher's Govt doing the same = ditto
The Mail, Express etc accusing Corbyn of being a terrorist sympathiser = Shameless hypocrisy on their part
Trump talking to anyone = a disaster waiting to happen. Someone should gag that lunatic.

This is the same maniac that these same angels teased and tormented, they helped to create the monster. Close to 50 times he was reported to the police and they did nothing, he threatened to do a school shooting, yet the local police and FBI did nothing and he was not put on a banned list. the fault is not with the gun dealer or the NRA, it is squarely at the feet of the authorities and the shooter. People shout catchy phrases given to then by CNN, but you will not find one serious debate between both sides in a neutral setting. People are blaming the AR-15 and believe the AR actually stands for Assault Rifle, the level of ignorance in America on guns is scary, they think this gun is some super new killing weapon, when it has been around for 50 years and only lately has been used in shootings
Next you'll be blaming rape victims for wearing skimpy clothes.
He shouldn't even need to be added to a banned list ffs. Should need to earn a licence like any other dangerous piece of equipment.
