We have had a sh1t 4 year. 2.5 years in your case. Can’t we go overboard about some good news for once.
Let's not get carried away fellas. We have not been sold yet. One swallow....... What happens if we get tonked next Friday? Patience is required.
Just listened to a good interview with Bowyer after the game. “If you work hard and do what I ask you will play, if you don’t you won’t” No histrionics or verbiage. I think the players have responded.
I wholeheartedly agree Bowyer should be given a chance. In the end however it almost certainly won't be the fans who decide. And we all want the depressing, disheartening and grinding treadmill of decline and negativity to be over. We want it so badly we can taste it. So celebrating a win and a new manager with a new outlook is very welcome indeed. It is merely a small prelude to what will be a great wave of relief and joy when we finally hear the take-over is complete and our Club has its future back. But that day is not here yet. Almost, but not quite.
https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/sp...arlton-athletic-caretaker-manager-lee-1381203 Can you imagine Mrs Robinson's boy ever saying anything like this in a post match?
Nope, I will never rate him as a manager so long as I have got a hole in my backside. He wouldn’t get us promoted out of L1 anyway unless he got another “Jenkinson Windfall”. And I really think it would be a nostalgic step backwards to return to the sentimental circus that Powell’s presence entails.
I dread to think of what Robinson would come out with after a performance like that. Bowyer simply walked off after the game, didn't clap the fans, left them to celebrate with the players. As it should be. Very Curbs.
Ahh I see what you are doing there Royston... changing the question to suit your reply.... I said IF Sir Chris came back next season and won L1 with over 100 points would your opinion of him change? bearing in mind your reply earlier .... "When the facts change, I change my mind”
It’s like asking me if I think Jezza Corbyn would make a good Prime Minister. My brain is hardwired to prevent me even considering such a thought.
