I may be a Liverpool fan but I am also a football fan and once we aren’t in a comp I have preferences - so I guess I care.

I would like to see a spurs v Chelsea final as it could be a barnstormer

But I just think utd have a habit of nicking these things

If it utd v Chelsea final I probably won’t watch it
If it spurs v Chelsea will probably watch it
Any other combo and I probably won’t care :)

I hope not. I want United to do well enough to not sack Mourinho (because theyll never win the PL with him in charge) and no better. The longer they stew and hardly win anything the less their economic clout would be.

With the financial muscle United have, if they ever got a decent manager again they would become unstoppable again like they were under Fergie.... They need to stew and slowly become worse without winning things.

I'm a football fan as well - which is why I don't like the crap Mourinho serves up, successful or not.
When I said "who cares?" I meant that I'm not really bothered who wins it. I'd prefer it if Utd didn't, but I won't lose any sleep over it if they do.

I think Spurs are going to beat united at Wembley and Jose Mourinho will have something to moan about.

How the heck has this tread become about the FA Cup ffs.
To get back on track, I think this could be one of trickiest remaining matches. Any win will do.
We can then watch the Spurs Chelsea knowing any result assist our top 4 ambitions.

probably hoping that extra game levels the playing field seeing these no mark rivals dumped the CL to chase qualification in next years CL <whistle>

i agree this one is very tricky indeed, everton will be as tricky probably given they are a bit better team but palace will be desperate.

Deffo any win and i think we will be watching spurs and cheslea just to see who is 4th team into cl places for next season <ok>

just have had that feeling since chelsea lost a few.

I dislike Chelsea and Man Utd equally so I definitely wouldn't watch that final!

Spurs vs Saints please, preferable a Liverpool Reserve victory

    IMO

spurs are a bit dull. poch wants them to run more than others and is very controlling in his midfield choices.
cheslea are a bit dull. conte is quite a controlling manager
Mourinho utd's utd are almost as dull as Van Gaal's he's a rat bag. he actively tries to stop his team attacking unless shaw is playing when he stands o nthe sideline demanding he sprint everywhere
    Southampton.. give a ****?

TBH if saints are not in final then the european space goes to 7th. right now that burnely.. but could be everton.

Do we want these clubs in europe? bringing their dullness to the world... no less see saints win this thing.

Not really, if you read your post from a neutral point of view you would appreciate how funny it was. Agree with the bit about United and Mourinho by the way.

At the risk of being bias Burnley in Europe would be awesome
Dyche should be given manager of the year if that happens

That’s what we are all hoping. But the reality is a bit more complicated. Their financial clout has very little relationship with their success. They have had relatively less success in the last 4-5 years - Cups. But no title and intermittent CL. Yet they have record income and their brand gets bigger. Why? Their global following tends to keep in touch via the media, They are constantly in the news: buying the most expensive players, paying the highest wages, Mourinho ranting and bullying. As long as they are in the news they will keep earning big. Not sure whether they can translated that wealth into success on the pitch.
