This is the one that everyone has been waiting for. What with one-season wonder Salah being lorded as the second coming of the Pharaoh, Kane's proven ability and established longevity in the Prem has been completely eclipsed. That will suit us Yids fine, as the giants of Europe turn their greedy gaze towards Anfield. Of course, the average Mouser believes that Salah has "Da Kop Like!" tattooed across his chest, and will never leave. But what do you lads think? Which of the two will be the first to turn his back on his club, his team-mates, and his fans? Which will betray his principles for money? Will it be Kane who has, on several occasions, told the National press that he wants to spend his career at Spurs to become a club and Prem legend? Or will it be Salah, who has barely been in the Prem for five minutes? Give your reasons, stand up and be counted, and we will see which of you submit to mere wummery. NOTE TO 'PEDE: it would be nice to see you voting with your consciences and from footy-based knowledge, rather than to impress your wum-mates and go with the party line.
Actually I think both will go within the next 2 summers - but Kane first as Spurs have a stadium to pay for
[sigh] I had hoped that you'd be able to leave the wummery at the door, when entering this thread. You do realise that this thread has been bookmarked, yeah?
As the OP has already said Salah is a one season wonder and Kane is a super star, so it's it's plainly obvious it will be Kane who will betray his club first due to nobody wanting to sign a one season wonder. PS. I voted Salah because the OP needs a bit of support with his "Arry the chin delusion.
I've gone for Salah, for the following reasons:- No particular loyalty to 'Pool Is a foreign player - so no particular loyalty to the English Prem Egyptian, so would probably prefer a more temperate climate looks greedy, so is more likely to be swayed by foreign lucre Will be worried that he may eventually get found out, so is more likely to bolt sooner rather than later Hasn't said anything about wanting to spend the rest of his career at 'Pool Compare that with Kane:- Is a massive and well-known Spurs supporter recently ripped the absolute piss out of Arsenal is a product of the Spurs academy has told the press on numerous occasions that he wants to spend his career at Spurs looks really good in our lilywhite kit cares more about loyalty than anything else in the World "he's one of our own!"
What wummery is that ? Spurs have a new stadium that needs to be paid for and if they got offered £200m for Kane they will sell him.
Not at all, Stan. This is a manifestation of the new HIAG. This thread has sprung out of what the kids are talking about on the streets, in the real World. Not those Northern Monkey bars that you patronise, where all they talk about is whippets, racing pigeons, and Doreen's varicose veins. My wumming days are over. I only wish that others would join me in the revolution.
Harry Kane is one of our own and will be with us for the rest of his career. Salah will want to be remembered as the man who replaced Ronaldo, that's an accolade he won't be able to resist and good luck to him, his plaudits this season have earned him that chance.
You know you will, as Levy likes a good sell - Modric, Bale, Berbatov, n Rose. As Les says If the price is right come on down
I never looked at it like that, but - yeah - I think you could well have a point their, mate. He'll want to be the first Egyptian player to become a Galactico. You're right, me Bredrin, I don't think he'll be able to resist that. For Kane, I don't think he'll be able to bear the thought of leaving his beloved Spurs or us fans.
It is but Salah and his magnificent stats have earned the chance. Once his agent puts it in his Ear that he has the chance to be the new Messi and can replace Ronaldo and put Egypt on the map for the right reasons, he will be gone.
