Well yes it did look like that to me, that’s why I said it. Of course I would have preferred Spurs but it was only a preference. As for Sotons chance of progressing to the final remains a chance. Form and pedigree generally show hence why I predicted a United v Chelsea final.
 
3 reasons why Chelsea will be favourites against Saints ... Hazard, Willian and Kante ... ... but if Saints can nullify the 3, Chelsea are vulnerable at the back ... big ask but Chelsea can blow a bit hot and cold ...
The other semi is too close to call for me ... Spurs have 'home advantage' and the benefit of a convincing win against United in the league ... don't expect United to get caught with an immediate sucker punch like they did in the league game and the most expensive haircut in football really does need to step up and show his worth ... this could be the perfect stage to do it on ... has the potential to be a cracker ... let's hope 'Blakey' doesn't deliberately spoil it with his tactics <ok>

Blakey won't change his tactics too much and as for the spuds having home advantage is laughable as at this stage of the competition it won't matter one jot. United could fill the stadium on their own but both sides will have only 32k allocation so there will be no advantage.
 
The advantage that Spurs have against United is that we're a better side than them, and we have the better manager.
