Half my family are blues, so if it does not clash with an LFC game I watch Everton just so I can chat to my father in law about the match as he is an avid blue. He is 84 and says the current team are one of the worst he has seen, he was a season ticket holder until he hit 80 and had to pack in driving so could not get to the match himself. He started watching them when he was 13 so he has seen a few teams/managers in his time. His favourite team was the Alan Ball era in the 60's.
He must have skipped the early 90’s then tell him mate.
The current squad has bags of talent, it’s just unbalanced and lacks bollocks at times. Schneiderlin sums up what I mean, the sackless ****e.
He still rates the Alan Ball 60's team as the best footballing side and the most enjoyable to watch. He was not rating them on how successful they were, just how good the football was.
We may not win anything this year, but only a complete dickhead would say we have not played exciting, watchable football most of the time.

Personally watching good football is great but watching winning football that ends with a pot is better.
Every team that is doing well has that one outstanding player who scores more than the rest but how many have a second player that could end up with 30 goals for the season?

our front 3 can go for 5 years. kieta is a great young player coming. we just need a few more quality players to compete.
