Yes I've always seen May as our Daenerys who will join with the great Khal (Putin) and conquer the known world.

I said a day after the poisoning May should issue advice that Brits in Russia are there at their own risk. While aware there are vast economic repercussions of a serious breach with Russia I just wish we'd do it. Kick the friends of Putin out, freeze assets and take the hit. Trouble is we will continue (mostly) to play by the rules while Putin takes the p*ss.

And whilst the Tories receive donations from rich Russian oligarchs.

Just finished the last sentence for you.

North Korea does this every few years, its pretty much a cycle.

Increase tension - test missiles - receive sanction- threaten west - offer to reduce tensions and missile test in trade for international aid.

Both Trump and Kim will hail this as a victory over an enemy and proof of their strength to their respective populaces. Victory for everyone (except for the population of both countries).

the cycle before was NK would say they will behave and then sanctions would be lifted and they would receive a suitcase stuffed with millions or billions of dollars. this time he gets zip and the sanctions are still in place

sanctions are not being lifted before the meeting, Trump has called for them to remain in place. NK may get a reduction in sanctions if they play ball

pretty sure trump will not fall for NK promising to be good boys in the future , if sanctions are lifted now
I don't actually remember any sanctions being lifted previously although there might be some. Trump will just go there offer to give food aid, tractors , equipment etc behind the scenes as usual in promise for stopping all the nuclear rhetoric for a while for then shout on twitter about how NK has backed down due to him being a strong leader while NK will claim that US have backed down due to the threat of their nuclear program while not much has actually changed. Of course trump will know its not true but when will something not being true stop Trump from shouting about it?

So Trump sacked Rex Tillerson by tweet. Bad enough, but Tillerson is a sensible man and is not on twitter, so it had to be printed out for him.

Trump has no class and seems to be too much of coward to sack someone face to face.

He's like the worst kind of Roman Emperor - beloved by the mob, hated and feared by the Senate, convinced of his own divine status. Will probably end up hacked to death in a palace corridor by the Praetorian Guard.

A bit like Obama and Iran then! although a lot cheaper.

Anyways I'm chilling today after the death of a real genius...

...super, great smashing, look what ya could've won. I used to love Bullseye. A very sad day.

You may laugh Bendit but look at his foreign policy regarding Iran (positive), Cuba (positive) the EU (positive), although his Middle East one was a let-down, Health reforms in the US, a positive, atempts to reform the gun laws, positive but was stymied by an obdurate Congress and Senate. An upswing in the US economy during his tenure despite the crash of 2008.
