Alpha Tauri can suck my balls if he wins today, been following him and his brother General all season with no luck, now Alpha will probably win today and it's only 4/1 instead of the usual 20/1 +, mugs the pair of them (Says me the biggest mug of all for backing the teenagers!!!!)

Wasn't even aware of this horse, as I rarely venture into low grade flat racing, and I see Timeform describe him as an "unreliable type", so I looked at his form, and I can see why! He rarely, if ever, follows a good run with another good run, and as he had a good one last time out you are probably right to swerve him now!

Interesting that he has moved yards several times in his long career - usually from C Smith then back to C smith again! One thing puzzled me about his official ratings though. His OR is usually in the 60-74 area yet there are sudden slumps to 46/7 then just as suddenly a leap back up again, and not always following a win. It may be something to do with the conditions of a particular race, but I thought OR's were fixed regardless, and only went up or down according to the handicapper's assessment. Or am I missing something - I usually am!

Despite all the above, I will pick up the mantle for you Chelsea and have a small dabble. I'm pretty sure I don't want to suck your balls if he wins though!
No offence, but if he had any, I'd prefer to suck his <laugh>

Roses in the Rain Thurles, 3.50 @ 5/1. I'm assured that if this one doesn't win today it wont be for lack of effort. Good luck anyone punting today.

The horse has 2 different BHB marks. One is for AW the other turf dependant on their ability at the different codes.

Thanks Mick - didn't realise that! And - bvery predictably, he finished last again :)

<laugh> good, usually only pops up at double figures anyway that's why i always back him and general tufto regardless as when they do pop up it is a nice return but they're making me wait agessss the last year!
