Views on politics, like history, depend on which books you read i.e. from which perspective. The article link is an opinion column in a US paper hence the content.

I only dip in and out of this thread because I'm not a political animal and so am completely out of my depth most of the time. You're far too savvy for me to respond to anything else you posted there <laugh>

Which article?

That's opinion, yes, but I fleshed it out with supporting historically known facts (that we know to be true) and some interesting revelations about the Pentagon trying to undercut Cameron Hollande and Killary.

Iraq and Libya... lessons? Here they are doing the same thing again in Syria.

Mistakes? no I've proven they were not
You did flesh it out but tobes response was to the title of the article 'Africans are being sold ....... thanks Hillary Clinton' and it was his response that I was addressing. As I said I'm not as clever as the rest of you on here so my opinion on it is pretty worthless.

I think my opinion on something I don't really understand wouldn't add any value and would annoy those who know far more than me - but thanks for the comment <ok>
Na, you're an intelligent reasonable fella.

Most of its bullshit we all spin because let's face it our individual influence on national or international politics is about nil.... <laugh>

Would always like to read your opinions on things.... more than some others lol and I'm sure they'd personally rather hear from you than me too!

tbh I've got an opinion on everything, including the things I don't understand - it comes with age - but while I can get away with it when talking about football or tumble dryers :) I can't pull it off on more serious matters <laugh>

And just to reciprocate, I enjoy your comments and think most people would choose you over me in terms of intelligence and content, heck, I wouldn't even make the top 50 and there's only 49 of us on here <laugh>

Nah mate, they all think I am unhinged <laugh>

"correlation"?

Maybe you need to look up the word mate, it does not apply here, I see you still like to gob off about **** you know nothing about though.

Cause and effect is what relevant. Guess that's lost on you <ok>

hmmm let me see, Iraq, remove strongman create power vacuum in place with extreme sectarian differences. Results in to now a million+ deaths, sectarian violence and constant suicide bombings, destroying the whole country and making everyone's life far FAR worse in the process

OK we have Iraq as a lesson..

hmm, Libya, remove strongman causing power vacuum, opposing sectarian militant groups go to war, smashing the country, flooding Europe with Terrorists (and Syria) making a prosperous state with decent education a bombed out **** hole where women are mutilated and murdered, people sold as slaves, terror attacks launched in neighbouring countries.

hmmm Syria, trying to remove strongman, country filled with sectarian militants raping and killing and bombing, country smashed.. yet to be seen who wins.

You have to be brain dead to not see the root cause of every one of the above, I would like to believe they were mistakes except they KNEW it would happen.

Also even the Pentagon knew what would happen and tried to undercut Clinton (and Holande and Cameron)

"Top Pentagon officials and a senior Democrat in Congress so distrusted Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 2011 march to war in Libya that they opened their own diplomatic channels with the Gadhafi regime in an effort to halt the escalating crisis, according to secret audio recordings recovered from Tripoli."

Maybe, just maybe just maybe you should shut the **** up when it comes to sanctimonious judging of others knowledge and opinion on political issues, because they don’t tally with yours....

The ‘story’ you posted was attempted smear on Clinton using simplistic cause and effect ‘logic’. The issue with both Lybia and Iraq is the vacuum that’s been left afterwards, not the over throwing of the dictatorships per se. All of which could have been avoided, but the main protagonists chose not to. Pointing the finger at Clinton for what’s occurring now is childlike propaganda

maybe you should not go all out with your flaccid intellect, flapping that small floppy thing all over the place before you think, stinking up the place

Loving the rage, and pathological altruism (while throwing abuse) <laugh>

You small small man, but I still love you nonetheless :emoticon-0109-kiss:

@Tobes Don't take everything I say so personally, and so absolutely <laugh>

You of all people should know better <whistle>

You are just a forum account to me. I don't care about your feelings or indignation.

See lard in chief is looking at Video Games and gin Violence.....ahhh the old conservative line....remember when it was horror movies.

I mean obviously it's video games...look at Japan's level of viole....oh wait...

Well look at all those countries with video games and gun control. ..oh wait...

So is it:

A) because the new generation of console controllers are too big for his tiny orange hands.

B) the precursor to the new NRATV ad "why spend money on a console and first person shooter; by an actual automatic rifle and DO it for real!"

imo,and its only formed from innuendo about the white house currently, he acts on whatever was last whispered in his ear.

i think its convenient and gives him a rag doll to shake about like a dog playing with a chew toy.

but who really knows. many films and documentaries about this time will make many people rich in 5/6 years time.

yeah that is one of my issues with him from day one. Rather dangerous when its the CIA and NSA feeding you information imo, and tweets <ok>

much more relevant that the tin foil hat Russia conspiracy theory (yeah funny coming from me <laugh>) or the endless nonsense articles about him being a white supremacist or a racist

You're right...someone check to see if Fox and Friends did a video game segment in the last few days lol.
