What I'd give for Faye right now, can't remember who we played at home, but he got man of the match and headed absolutely everything.

Also if your a manager and inept enough to not put the ball in and around that back line of Millwalls you don't deserve to win, instead just hoof it to Dicko against the 9ft giant.

May I also ask whose idea was it to leave Dawson back at corners? Was it meant to outwit Millwall, unbelievable.

I remember Bruce saying he would’ve headed the stand <laugh>

Adkins should not have singled him out but let's see what he is made of now, will he take the attitude of I will show you , and put a couple of centre forwards in the stand on Saturday , or will it be the more likely modern player reaction of sulking and going for a pedicure to get over it

Overall, I think he's a bit meh, not brilliant at anything, but fairly competent at everything. I think his contribution last night is being discounted by some based on a pre-conceived idea of what he contributes, though not by everyone, he's currently only being beaten by Wilson in the MOTM vote.

Quite how anyone can criticise him ahead of Grosicki after last nights performance is beyond me.

I'd start him alongside Larsson on Saturday, in a 4-4-2, with Bowen and Wilson on the wings and Abel and Dicko up top.
It was a funny game last night. The whole team were so poor I think people saw different things good and bad.
I thought Grosicki looked like he might be the only threat for about the first 30 mins, even though it was only in flashes, but then he went missing and didn't look interested at all
It is fair to say I'm not a fan of Henriksen in general, although I did comment that he seemed to be having a better game than usual in patches, but I do find him frustrating (or the job he's being asked to do...or both)

Before last night I would have said Larsson and Irvine together in a 4-4-2 but I though Irvine was really poor last night, he couldn't control anything, so I'm not sure TBH

Why does Grosicki get referred to as 'Turbo'? That implies that he's quick - I've seen grass grow quicker. He's so pedestrian at times it's unbelievable. If he's heralded as the next best player for Poland after Lewandowski - then they are in the ****.

If you are playing Millwall (Similarly to Bolton away) you need to win the battle, win the headers and get stuck in. Meyler was needed last night, whether it was right back or centre mid I would of played him. Some games you need to accept he will give a few balls away as he will make sure he leaves a mark on a few players early on.

No preconceived ideas from me. I've been pretty supportive of him but he's is never in a million years a centre midfield player.
As glp says they dominated us. Won all the battles in cm. I thought Larsson was crap as well. They put their foot in, we didn't. Until Mazuch came on and greegsy doesn't count.

I thought the whole midfield area was appalling , every loose ball was picked up by a millwall player often with no City player within 10 yards of them especially first half , whether that is henriksen , Larrson , or tactics - nobody comes up smelling of roses and it is laughable Meyler cannot get a look in
Post of the day.

I feel incredibly sorry for Max.

He isn't a left back and he isn't good enough, but who else do we have? People should direct their anger towards the owners for this not hammering a local lad doing his best.

Fair enough if he was very capable but just lazy or not fulfilling his potential - but he's working his socks off and wringing out all the ability he has, lets support the lad.
The owners bought a two million quid left back. Bad luck that he's been injured so much. Not that he's shown much anyway.
