I don't mind using Travelodge and Premier Inn for overnight stays if I'm catching a flight or got a long drive somewhere. They are basic, but they do the job.

Agreed, but you wouldn’t want to spend too much time in one.

I’ve found a great place, not cheap, but less than I should be paying.

Think Real are happy to preserve this game. If they need a win they'll find a way but I think this is them going through the motions.

I'd rather spoon up to a tramp in his piss sodden sleeping bag than bed down in a NeedleLodge. The beds there are what I'd expect to find in an under funded prison.

Yeah, overnight is plenty enough time. I only use them if I've got a flight to catch or got a long drive the next day.

Best budget hotels I've used are Motel 6 in the states, they are cheap as **** and really well specced. Stayed in one in Los Angeles a couple of years ago and it had a outdoor heated swimming pool <ok>

Was pretty surreal going for a swim next to an 12 lane freeway though ...
