Following on from quite a few people wanting more done on the Rangers board, what are everyones thoughts?

Do you want me to remove all wum posts/threads from Celtic fans? Obviously the posters that contribute will still be welcome.

Should I be asking Mick to ban people from the board?

Feel free to post any suggestions, or PM me <ok>
 
It's not really my place to say but I'll say it anyway.

Maybe if every other thread on the Rangers board wasn't about Celtic and Celtic fans you might not get as many Celtic fans defending themselves on your board.

Just a thought.
 
Bans are ****e, **** that, that's Timmy-esque behaviour.

Decent WUMs are acceptable, and the ****e ones generally get shouted down by all (inc Timothy)

If it wasn't for a bit of winding up there would hardly be any posts on either of the boards.

You shut the **** up. It's bad enough having to fight with all the other mods on this place without having to put up with you and your bullshit!

Seriously though, all I'm saying is if Rangers fans are posting threads about racist Celtic fans, the mentality of Celtic fans and pictures of Celtic fans you can hardly be surprised when you attract Celtic fans to your forum.

I don't want to start deleting posts unless it's the same repetitive ****e. I don't want people banned because it's not606, and that's why I have never asked Mick to ban anyone from the board.

Just thought I should guage the opinion before changing how the board is moderated.

Muir, you're getting banned unless you get the pictures of the ex posted on the board.
 
No point in banning people from boards, that would spoil any fun and make this forum like Ace McCloud's wet dream.

Anyway I like the banter and debate with the celtc fans, its sometimes close to the bone but its not any worse than the banter with your mates in the pub. Nobody is going to get hurt from a few harsh words.

Also, sometimes its helpful to get a different perspective on issues especially for Dev and Stereo as those two have an awful lot to learn.
 
I really don't get the banning from boards. People talk about rape, holocaust denying, mocking disasters, praising terrorists etc on general chat yet people like myself get banned from the Celtic board for commenting on articles and supposedly talking about Celtic in a negative light.

It seems a little lump sided but still, I think anyone should be able to contribute anywhere they want on this board.
