Chelsea are basically watching City passing it around at the moment, but it's still only 1-0. One mistake or good move and they can get something out of it. Now Giroud's on, you've got to think that they're going to give it a go in the last 10 minutes. Doesn't really matter if they concede more.
And if both are still in the CL we could draw them. Time to drop the small club mentality, and make the statement. I expect Spurs to front up and make it 3 consecutive wins at home in the PL against Sheikh Mansour FC, whether they have the PL wrapped up by then or not.
The reason for this is that English players are known divers/cheats, and neither club wanted that to overshadow the huge football spectacle that was going to be played today.
Spurs win. Arsenal lose. Chelsea lose. West Ham lose. Can Palace become the 2nd London side to get any points in this round of fixtures?
Looking like April 1 will be Battle of the Bridge part 2 and another cup final for Chelsky (this time with a lot more at stake for them) .
3 more wins and City are on 87 points, which is the maximum liverpool can now reach and 2 short of what United can reach. However, being as it is that the 3rd win will be against United, it'll be curtains for the title (on GD at least) if they beat Stoke, Everton and United. They'd then only need a point against us to officially wrap it up mathematically. But for all intents and purposes 3 wins will be enough. We're not going to see a swing of 28 GD.
True. I have no doubt that both of these clubs have a number of English players rotting in their academies and some may even make the bench to rot there so you are quite right I have should have mentioned that.
