We really did run into Arsenal six weeks too early. They're just such a gimme right now away from home.
We should yes. But they still had Giroud and Sanchez then. They weren't quite as bad as they are now. You could argue that after WBA, Arsenal are the team you'd most like to play at home right now.
Better Right now, they are the teams we need to do better than. Along with Palace, Stoke or Huddersfield. Six of us looking at it.
@tomw24 can you buy me a pair when you get yours please? I'm hoping it's a pair of wins otherwise we really are ****ed!
Oh I agree, we need two wins from those games, however we are currently on the correct side of the line (looks hard at United), so still in our hands.
It was always going to be the case that one-by-one, teams would escape the relegation battle. It was never going to be an eleven-way fight all the way down to the last day of the season. So whilst it's painful, it was always going to happen. So I'm utterly prepared for it. To my mind, Watford secured their safety yesterday, and this is Brighton joining Bmouth in being just one more result away (which in reality means safety too). But that still leaves seven sides (plus WBA). Although inevitably, that will continue to shrink as the weeks pass.
