Just as today could have been totally different if Diouf had been sent off for the stamp (which I missed, just read about on here). Yes he went off injured soon after anyway and we're traditionally terrible against 10 men, but with that much of the game left, it'd certainly be an advantage. We're doing a lot of things wrong, but would be nice to get some luck go our way too! Every little helps

Although Pieteres who came on was awful.

So bad he was probably in our top 5 most creative players on the day

How about Mame Diouf’s violent conduct towards Wes? 2 stamps and a smack in the face warrants some action, surely?

Having seen the stamp on MOTD, I think that's a case for a ban. Clearly was no accident.

And missing matches vs City, Everton and Arsenal would have the added benefit of not directly assisting another of our rivals in beating Stoke.
