Chavs are playing on Sunday, Sucky. They are going to get taken apart. I think they've got enough in the tank to finish above Arsenal, but I think they are going to struggle to make top 4. I still think that we're favourites to take 3rd off you, but I don't know if United will slip up enough times for us to take 2nd. It's going to be an exciting race, whatever happens.
Obsessed about what? Set out anything in what I said that isn't a reasonable argument. You might take a different view - I'm sure you do - but that doesn't make what I wrote unreasonable. Go on. Engage in some real footy discussion, instead of waving the same old sticky pompom around in the air.
right you are, if us and yourselves take maximum pts tomorrow the pressure is really on, takes you 5 and us 7 above them. not that that will happen of course, just saying.
Wasting your time talking football with the buffoon mate, he's probably quoting the BBC chapter and verse.
Ah... yes! I get what you're saying, now, Sucky! I agree with you. Chavs will win against City, tomorrow. I might put a tenner on it.
I think that you're getting a little too carried away in the other direction. If we can beat Huddersfield tomorrow, then we're a point behind Utd when they go to Palace on Monday. Then they face Liverpool next Saturday. We're not favourites for 2nd, by any means, but it's hardly miles out of our reach, either. There's virtually nothing between 2nd and 5th at the moment. Any of those four teams could finish in any of four positions.
Could be interesting, but I think a lot will depend on how Mourinho approaches the match. I think that he might try to choke the life out of it, despite being at home.
How is that deluded? Look where we've finished the last two seasons. Look where we are in the league at the moment with only ten games left to play. Look at our recent form - unbeaten in the last 16 in all competitions. Look at the games that those around us still have to play. I didn't say we'd finish 2nd, in fact I said that I didn't think United would screw enough to let us do that. But it isn't deluded to say that we are still in with a shout for 2nd. Really, Commie, you should start hanging around the League 1 forum, mate. Get used to that atmosphere. You're allowing your bitterness at our success to cloud your thinking. I wish you luck.
We drew with Rochdale and Newport. We also drew with Liverpool and Juventus. Beat Arsenal, Man Utd and Everton. The teams that we started in the FA Cup almost entirely changed from our league sides. Disappointing draws in games that they should be winning, but they corrected it at home and we're through. We've got too many games to keep using the same XI all the time and some of our squad players aren't doing the business. Hopefully they'll pick up in the run-in.
