Not me. Quite the opposite.

Let me say it again, because you appear to not understand the use of very plain and simple English.

There is nothing intrinsically wrong with sock accounts, provided that they are not used to target individual posters, or as a cover for complete and utter cowards to post material that the craven coward knows will get him banned.

We all know that The Village Bike was a sock account, and whilst it has been (quite rightly) closed, the person behind it hasn't been banned. I (and several others) believe that the person behind that sock should be banned, not because he had the temerity to use a sock, but because he used the sock in a cowardly fashion to break the rules and to cross a line.

Please confirm that you understand that, Pix.

Personally - and I have said this before - I don't care that people have discovered who I am. If you know the name of my band, you can even go and visit out public web page and our website. I play to a few thousand people during the course of a year, ffs! What I object to is scum and flotsam posting personal photographs from my Facebook page, without my consent. I would object if they did that to anyone. It is breach of the rules of this site, and it is in breach of legislation.

In other words, regardless of what I think or believe, and regardless of whether or not you are trying to be clever or merely a complete dickhead, it is wrong.

Revealing someone's details on the open forum is out of order - complete agreement ... but Quents is off on another of his rants and is targeting the wrong poster on this occasion... ribbing him about his double standards is fair game ... if this was the only time he had called for bans I'd have far more sympathy ... but it isn't
