I'd rather not waste my time on some silly ****, who is probably sat thawing out on a Biggest Club in The World Supporters Club coach reading texts from his pleb mates saying 'Oi Tangoman, you were on Match of the Day tonight. Please can I suck you off when you get back to Sheffield or Wolverhampton or wherever else you ****ing live'. He 's just like those silly ****ing tubs of lard from Newcastle that also frequently like to show their grossly ample rolls of flesh as if it's something to be proud of. FFS
Someone told me in the 60's and 70's people just got on with it and there was no drama about the weather. Wonder why the media make such a big deal about it these days ? Are they trying to re-calibrate the public's thinking.
****ing hell you've got a good memory to remember that from almost 50 or 60 years ago. Global Warming, that's what it is. And ****ing plastic bottles in the sea.
Yes, he is an attention seeking twat. An Owls fan I used to know couldn't stand him. His one redeeming feature was he used to take care of a wheelchair bound fan.
You know what he meant. There was certainly less drama in 1963 which really was bad. God knows how these drama queens would have got on in the days when they used to hold fairs on the frozen Thames
Was bloody cold tho , 2 pairs of socks made no difference , lads near me had 4 pairs on , crazy times we live in
Was having my tonsils out in Park Street Infirmary that winter, stuck in the ****ing place for weeks cos of the snow.
I hope the guy who fell on the ice on the walkway, and was unconscious for several minutes, is ok. The ****s should have gritted it.
And ease the way for terrorists. ...... seriously none of West Park approaches were gritted either. ..
Noticed tonight how the concourse seemed to be 5 degrees lower than actually in the stadium. Everyone we spoke to said the same. Why though?
I like Stephen Fry and that quote is spot on. But I'm already missing that lass in your old avatar. Bring her back please, DJ
It’s simply because they have air time to fill / an audience to engage with. There wasn’t 24 hour news then, there wasn’t even breakfast tv never mind social media. People would get to work then, say “ooh it’s a bit chilly” and then ****ing get on with it. February temperatures of minus 5 and a couple of inches of snow isn’t news unless you have news to fill.
