Gjanni Alioski won EIGHT tackles against Brentford, more than any other player on the pitch from either side. Impressive work rate.

Ok that gives my opening to say whats been in my mind.

I went off him a bit recently, he has seemed to be less effective and his silly falling over antics were starting to annoy me.

When he came on against Derby and against Brentford I thought he was much better. He annoys the fck out of the opposition in that he’s always at them (he’s no Bremner but in that respect there’s a similarity), he seems to click with Sais and is often an outlet for him, his work rate is good - I remember on Saturday blinking when he was defending on the edge of our penalty area as a moment before he’d been involved on an attack on theirs.

We could get better, I know, and he’s not prem quality - too light physically to win out much on 50-50’s, not a great tackler, not actually a great finisher though he does score as on Sat, and for a wing player is not actually that good at beating a man (he’s no Eddie Gray).

But he is quite effective unless we can get better, i’d not be too quick to knock him.

One of those tackles was comical cos he was tearing through the middle and pushed the ball too far.this resulted in him trying to win it back and nearly crippling himself and the brentford lad.

Ok he didn't score on Saturday, that was last Wednesday, but the run he made to score at Derby,no one else does that and he has a great understanding with Saiz.
