Group A - tasty Group B - poor Group C - lol Group D - good Group E - good Group F - ok Group G - utter ****e - the group you want to draw for the last 16 Group H - no contest
Didn't Lyon beat Real recently. Albeit a few of their players have gone, but it still should be good. Ajax have got a young team, think they'll give Real a decent run at least. Still expect Real to win that group though. I'd be really surprised if Barcelona didn't win all 6 games in their group. Us and Chelsea should be pleased with the groups we have. I think Chelsea have the more difficult group though, Leverkusen are getting back up there, not the same team that beat us in the 2001 semis (we'll quickly move on from that) and lost to Real thanks to one of the all time great goals by Zidane at Hampden in the final but getting back towards it. They also don't have to travel that far do Chelsea, that's another good point for them. I think Arsenal will go through. Marseille will be tough, they did well against us last season. Dortmund are an unknown quantity at this stage. They have talent but, for most of their team the first time at the top level. Think they will go through with Arsenal though, all important though where Arsenal finish in that group. Can't risk 2nd again. This is what City should have expected. They are relatively new to European football so they haven't got as many coefficient points as their talent justifies (same with Dortmund). They will do well to get out of that group but I think they will. I fully expect 4 English teams to go through. United and Chelsea winners, Arsenal and City runners up.
I can see City struggling. Last season shown they don't do well in intimidating atmospheres so I believe they could lose at Napoli. Bayern are just better than them so I reckon a draw at home and a defeat away. Could be a close group but away in Europe they really struggle. I hope Rossi bags a good few in Spain.
Why don't you go back to concocting random tales about Man United and Liverpool being less well supported than Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs, and Southern clubs being bigger, better and more successful than Northern ones.
Lyon have form against Real and Ajax are still a decent side - I expect those games to at least test this Madrid team and either one of Lyon or Ajax could go through with them.
If he didn't mention it, you would of said 'but Chelsea have the harder group'. Just shut the **** up.
Even if we don't sign anyone we should comfortably top the group. It's a pity to see Wilshere out for long, would have been great to see him face Mario Goetze of Dortmund.
thats funny, you calling someone out for being obvious when most of what you say on here is utter bull and flys in the face of logic.
Location : London/Birmingham Meaning that you support a team in London yet you live in Birmingham, where there are several clubs to support there.
New to the forum guys so go easy on me! I think City have one of the toughest groups! they should still go through but Villareal and Napoli will be difficult games, especially the away ties! and Bayern munich speak for themselves! all the games will have great atmospheres though and I think it will be the best and most closely fought groups to watch!
