Hans Moleo - What do you believe was the demise of the 'fox in the box' modern striker in the epl? I'm sure you'd agree that the likes of Fowler, Jeffers etc are from a time gone by. Jeffers was the archetypical fox in the box at his time at Everton. These players had to become more adaptable. Look at Owen and Eduardo now, when they started their careers they would play off the shoulder sniffing around but now they both can play deep and even on the wings. Why so Joan Smith? No just dont care about what happened to the FOX in the BOX.... I watch my team and enjoy us winning i enjoy the banter and the team talk with fellow gooners.... I do not though feel the need to act like a pundit and assess every aspect of the game including what happen to the fox in the box. Since ive watched football the game has changed alot so what does it matter whats happened in the past or how the changes have come about all that matters is that the rules and regs are good for the future as if they are not then football will be a bad place....
