Are you not saying “look at our trophy cabinet.. istoreeee”? You won a cup you should never have been in and one clubs play their reserve teams in until the semi-finals. A great season for most clubs but not for Man U IMO. You’ve been drab for most of this season and Mourinho appears to be cracking up. Like Spurs, Pool do need a trophy- any trophy- to get going but they are behind United in that resoect so it’s not much of a comparison.
No. You brought up who was going to win things and I've just told you JM already has some trophies to his name here. Let's have a look again at the end of the season and see how much progress these teams have made. I'm sure Liverpool are going to come and teach us a lesson at Old Trafford in a few weeks.
Pretty much. Though to be fair to the Whiny One, he did win two trophies last season. And the fact that most of his own team's supporter's don't really want him there is a definite positive from the neutral's position. Klopp's tenure at Liverpool has to be classed as a failure until such time as he actually wins something.
I agree, yes we are happy with him as manager and the direction he's taking us in so far but it all means **** all unless we take that next step which is winning something. We'll win the CL though so that's sorted really.
We'll come at you as usual and you'll look to ride that out, once it settles I'd think you'll nick it. Should be a good game though if you come out and play.
I liked United for some reason growing up with the 99 team and around then. Proper blokes. Always wanted them to win against Arsenal when it was those two at the top. ****ing Mourinho is bad enough without all the moody £50m+ players. Just can’t warm to them as a neutral whereas I want City to win it all (FA Cup excepted). Can’t really explain it. Maybe because they were ****e not so long ago.
I'm not confident that we can beat anybody at present, we looked good then Jose seems to have obliterated the confidence of the team all because we conceded a stupid goal vs Spurs. If he has the balls to start Zlatan instead of Lukaku then I think we'd be more of a threat.
Probably helps. I saw Pogba live for Juve in a CL semi and he was awesome. I want the bloke to be that monster but he’s either being stifled or just isn’t that arsed.
Probably because they're winning it with class and style rather than moaning at everything. Guardiola is a ****er but props where it's due, he's built a team none of the rest of us can compete with over the season and it's not based on shutting up shop at 1-0.
Oh Jesus, God, no...we'll never hear the ****ing end of it if you do . I think I'd prefer Spurs to win it, and I live in North London, surrounded by those bastards.
Yes without doubt but also think there’s an onus on him to ‘take games by the scruff of the neck’. Mourinho is so anal about tactics that it’s tough for players to express themselves but I still think he should be doing more to impose himself rather than stroll through some games. I’d love to see him bully Kante and Fabregas but we know it won’t happen.
He was awesome in that game because he was allowed to play in an attacking midfield role which is where he plays best. Jose thinks he's a midfielder.
First of all #nojinx I agree, if Zlatan plays the ball sticks up top and you're attacking midfielders will cause problems but if Big Game Lukaku plays he wont get much joy.
I'll have to check if there are certain signs that this is written in the stars, John Lennons birthday on the same day as the final, the shell suit invented this year and other such random coincidences that mean it's our year. Pretty sure there will be some **** I can come up with.
He was everywhere though that night like prime Vieira in a three rather than a proper AM wishy washy number ten bollocks. I was pissed at the time admittedly on mediocre Spanish lager.
Spanish lager is tops and usually stronger than the UK ****e. Anyway, yes he played well in that system as he was allowed to play knowing that he had 2 bods behind him winning the ball back. He's best when playing in and around the box and not having to track back and win the ball.
