Haigs issue was that he had decided to get into it with 2 people who then decided to not let it go, he wasn't always the one in the wrong and you can see clearly in some threads that Ginge and Piskie would be at him for no reason.

Exactly, the thing with trolls being trolled back is that they don't decide when the ragging stops, if others decide to give it back in spades there's no rules to who goes in harder. TBH he's probably lucky it was Ginge and Piskie, there's a lot worse on this site who'd have had him hanging up by his balls.

No idea how much effort it took, but he kept the actual detail off the public forum, and managed it based on what HIAG had posted about himself. The bottom line is, that without sharing what he chose to on here, then HIAG would have never been traced. Plus if he’d have just shared it and not bigged himself up in the way that he did, then I doubt he’d have bothered, and it wouldn’t have been funny.

It's rarely a tough task to find somebody online if you have a few scraps, I used to do it back in around 2006/7 when I worked in counter-fraud.

He dished it and got it back. The fact that I would give it back plus interest was what got him dialling 999 and threatening legal action.
