Absolutely buzzing now.

Though I've just realised I've no chance of a semi ticket if we get there, what allocation do the teams get for semi finals?

That was when I thought we had no chance of winning it. I didn't think we would come close to getting to the semis so I admit I thought it was a waste of time prior to the Fulham game. However, I went to the Watford and West Brom games* so I have been fully invested in the cup run since then.










*Nothing whatsoever to do with boosting my criteria for getting a ticket for the semi final should we get there. :)

That's what I was thinking, I know they've increased the final from 25k to 28k. So maybe just over 30.

Let's beat Wigan first anyway!
 
I reckon this result tonight will give the whole club a lift. 48 hours ago it was a case of "oh ****, that's the end of our cup run" when the draw was made. This will give the players a much needed boost that all that stands between them and a Wembley semi final is Wigan. And that is no disrespect to Wigan, they were superb tonight but we've suddenly got a very very winnable quarter final out of the blue. I reckon it will show in our league form.

Wigan have a midweek game in the week leading upto it so that should rule out a Friday night match.

Isn't the following week international break too?

And we were in way better shape as a team then, compared to now - even if we were in a bit of a slump at the time.

Should get just under 5000 tickets which I'd expect us to sell providing it's on q weekend. Many on here planning on going?

I reckon the beeb will snap up the ‘Wigan, and their journey to Wembley’. Hopefully Wigan will be complacent against us!

Absolutely

Whichever channel we are on, we won't get a mention.

Either 'Heroic Wigan go to Wembley' or 'Plucky Wigan Cup run ends' will be the story.
