They are, it is the City/Spurs/Pool triangle that interests me. Utd would be a great draw in the qtrs. (if we are both there).

Likely qtr finalists

Spurs :emoticon-0101-sadsm
Liverpool
Man City
Man Utd
Barcelona
Real Madrid
Bayern
Roma

Spurs v Man Utd/Roma/Liverpool would do as a qtr final
Avoid Ci£eh or Roma, all the others are there for the taking, however, we have got to get past Juve first.

They are above Juve in the league, leading the fekking thing, by all accounts, firing on all four.

Napoli are top of Serie A, Roma currently 4th.

If we get passed Juventus would just love us take on Bayern - something about the goons relationship with them over the last few years makes me want to see us have a go at them.

Already played one German team this season.

With Aurier and Moura here, I wanted to draw
PSG at some stage. But it seems UEFA refs
are going to ensure Real Penaldo make it to
the QFs.

I don’t think that Los Ladrones are getting quite as much help as they used to. In the past Lo Celso would have got a second yellow for his foul for the penalty and Neymar would have got one for his dive. Qatari money seems to have come into play now.

What happened in Portugal tonight has sickened me to the pit of my stomach.

TalkSport tomorrow is going to be unbearable, but I know full well that I will have to listen to it.

Jim White has already prophesised that Mo Salah is the second coming of Messi. Tomorrow, he will be jerking openly into Danny Murphy's ears. I am embarrassed for them all, even now.

I have to believe that Porto are completely ****e and that they made 'Pool look like football's equivalent of the Harlem Globe Trotters. To believe otherwise would force me to accept that Klopp is a genius, and that 'Pool are CL champions elect.

I don't think I could survive that.

Good game wasn't it? Glad you enjoyed it, mate.

Bro, you know that I love ‘Pool and Mousers.

It’s the media fawning that eats me up inside.

Jim White unloaded so many times during yesterday’s show that his balls turned blue, shrivelled up, and dropped off. Danny Murphy’s blazer looked like a plasterer’s radio.

The media have gone a little overboard, agreed.

However lets break this down...

  • Liverpool registered the biggest away Champions League knockout win ever, equalling Bayern Munich's 5-0 win at Sporting Lisbon in February 2009 and Real Madrid's at Schalke in February 2014.
  • This is Porto's heaviest home European defeat and the first time they have conceded more than three goals in a home European match.
  • Porto had only conceded 10 goals all season before last night.
  • Liverpool are the first English side to score five goals in an away Champions League knockout match.
  • Liverpool are also the Champions League’s top goalscorers ever at this stage with 28 goals, including 25 of those coming in their last five games.
Basically last night records were being smashed for fun.

If you were Barcelona or Real Madrid you'd be ****ting yourself at the prospect of facing Liverpool.

Fahckts.

If this is true, think about the state they would
be in if they were facing the team who smacked
you 4-1. Oops, too late for one of them,

That was a 1 off mate. We used to beat you 5-0 for fun.... but let's forget about that ay?!

Good job you can't draw Swansea in the next round.
Or West Brom.
Then you'd be in the s***
You didn't look like world beaters against Sevilla either.
That's because you're inconsistent and are dodgy in defence.
But keep celebrating the battles won - you won't be winning any wars.

Wha gwan, the hate is strong in here today guys, we got spuds hating cos we spanked Porto and everyone already forgot their "instanbul" against juve.
Mancs hating cos, well their mancs and can't stand anything pool.
Chavs cos the ghost goal still haunts them

Eat up up boys, there's more to come <laugh>

Over half of our back 5 are different to a little while back and we've been getting much better defensively. Do I think we're going to win the CL this year? Of course not, but last night was a record breaking night. So carry on discussing Swansea etc. all you like, I'm just on about last night <ok>

I know who I'd rather be watching....

Jose <laugh>
