Can't believe Rylan was a makeweight for Agangbang? £19 million for a proven premiership striker is pretty thin especially when sold to a rival. Just seems unbelievable that Arsenal were strapped for such a small amount of cash.
Yeah I agree about Dybala. I think you should have offered him 400K a week and tried to get him instead of Sanchez. You'll probably get him in the summer anyway you ****ers.
PSG should beat them fairly easily imo. I really think it's their year or possibly Man Citys year to win it. That PSG offensive is insane. They have a good defence too. Proper team now. Only concern is the league they're practising in!!
Jose says no more attackers for us. I'd love him here though. Hopefully Mourinho gets run over by a steam roller.
I think experience counts for a lot in the CL. We say City are favourites but I wouldn't fancy them to progress if they drew Liverpool over two legs. I think Barca will do it this season.
Spurs are a cracking bet at 14/1. They'll need a fair bit of luck, but Pochettino is a lucky manager.
He's won **** all so far. Which is why I described him as a lucky manager, not a great one. He has to win something soon, and it won't be the PL, but he is the best shot Spurs will ever have at the big time. I just think 14/1 is excellent value.
That's the issue. Poch is clearly an excellent manager but he needs to win something soon to back up his status. I'm sure he will but unfortunately I think it'll be at his next club....which will be a club that expects to win something every season.
Where's he gonna go though? I reckon he'd jump at the Real job, and I'm sure they have an eye on him. But they probably won't take him until he does win something. Would he leave for another PL Club? City won't be sacking Pep anytime soon, and Poch absolutely will not go to Arsenal or Chelsea. That only really leaves Utd.
You had a top quality side in the 70s and 80s, but you've not had any side that I would say where top class since. The closest you came was probably when you had, Alonso, Torres, Gerrard and Mascherano in the same side. But even then you lacked any real quality in wide areas. The 05 team you showed great heart and fight to win that, much like Chelsea in 12. But let's be honest it wasn't a top class side. Even Carragher admitted on the MNF when Lampard was on, that Chelsea's team that you got the ghost goal against was a much superior team.
Why do you say that? Spanish clubs are a little different to PL clubs. What had Zidane won as a manager when Real took him on? What had Pep won as a manager when Barca took him on?
